Ready-to-use VPS
9router VPS: one AI endpoint for all your coding tools
Point Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Cline at a single endpoint and let 9router route requests across your providers — with fallback when a quota runs out and compression that trims input tokens. We deploy it on first boot with secure defaults.
Why run it on our VPS
40+ providers, one endpoint
OpenAI-compatible /v1 API in front of Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter, DeepSeek and many more.
Automatic fallback
Combine subscriptions, cheap and free tiers — requests move to the next provider when one hits its limit.
Token savings
Built-in compression of diffs, grep output and file trees before they reach the model.
Secure by default
Random dashboard password and signing secrets, and every /v1 request requires an API key you create.
Usage tracking
See requests, tokens and quota per provider and per key in one dashboard.
Your keys, your server
Provider API keys stay on your own VPS in Jakarta — not on a shared service.

How it works
- Pick a plan below and sign in or create an account.
- 9router is preselected — choose a hostname and create the VPS.
- Open http://YOUR-IP:20128 with the password in /root/9router-info.txt, add providers, create an API key and point your tools at http://YOUR-IP:20128/v1.
9router is open-source software (MIT) by decolua; this service is not affiliated with the 9router project or the AI providers.
What people build with it
- One gateway for a team using Claude Code and Cursor
- Falling back to cheaper models when quotas run out
- Tracking AI spending per developer key
- Sharing provider subscriptions across your own tools
Frequently asked questions
Is an AI model included?
No. 9router routes to the providers you add with your own API keys or subscriptions; usage is billed by those providers.
Which tools work with it?
Any tool that supports an OpenAI-compatible endpoint or custom base URL, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Cline and many others.
Is the endpoint protected?
Yes. REQUIRE_API_KEY is on: every /v1 request needs an API key created in your dashboard, and the dashboard uses a random password.
How much RAM does it need?
1 GB is enough for personal use; choose 2 GB or more for a team with many parallel requests.
Can I use HTTPS and my own domain?
Yes. Point a domain to the VPS and put a reverse proxy with SSL in front, then set AUTH_COOKIE_SECURE=true in /opt/9router/.env.
