How it works

- GOWA is preselected — choose a hostname and create the VPS.
- Open http://YOUR-IP:3000, log in with the credentials in /root/gowa-info.txt and scan the QR code.
Ordering requires accepting the anti-spam policy. GOWA is open source by Aldino Kemal; WhatsApp may ban numbers that break its terms.

Frequently asked questions
Is GOWA the official WhatsApp API?
No. GOWA connects as a linked device of your WhatsApp account. For high-volume business messaging consider the official WhatsApp Cloud API.
Can I send mass broadcasts?
No. Spam and unsolicited bulk messaging are prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy and by WhatsApp; numbers can be banned.
How is GOWA different from WAHA?
Both are WhatsApp HTTP APIs. GOWA is written in Go and is lighter; WAHA has a different API and dashboard. We offer both.
How much RAM does GOWA need?
1 GB is plenty for one or a few WhatsApp numbers.
How do I set a webhook URL?
Add WHATSAPP_WEBHOOK to /opt/gowa/compose.yml and run docker compose up -d; payloads are signed with the secret in /root/gowa-info.txt.
